Something does feel strange about the Vision Pro marketing - very reserved, not attempting any consumer appeal.  My guess: the hardware and OS are excellent foundations but the really exciting stuff is still 1-2 years away, and they don't want to over-promise and end up selling a $3500+ disappointment. v1 doesn't need to be a hit, it just needs to get people building for it.

We got hands-on with the device once more before its official launch, with some new features available to test this time.

Something does feel strange about the Vision Pro marketing - very reserved, not attempting any consumer appeal.  My guess: the hardware and OS are excellent foundations but the really exciting stuff is still 1-2 years away, and they don't want to over-promise and end up selling a $3500+ disappointment. v1 doesn't need to be a hit, it just needs to get people building for it.
