Despite my criticism of Anthropic's safety approach, I'm glad that they are getting funding.  We need more competitors with different philosophies with respect to AI model development, features, and safety.  Between this and their partnership with Amazon, I think they've got the muscle to keep up with the best of them.

I saw a post yesterday that I think showed DeepSeek being asked what version it was (or something like that) and it said that it was ChatGPT trained by OpenAI, implying either stolen data or a stolen model. Was that a fabrication? Can anyone verify?
