I didn't get to use Apple Intelligence on the new iPad Mini until yesterday afternoon, but here are other impressions on the small updates to Apple's smallest tablet. Basically I just want the basic iPad to get these features soon https://www.cnet.com/...

iPad mini (2024) review: fast A17 Pro chip, delightful size, and Pencil Pro support, but less powerful than other iPads, outdated Touch ID and camera placement

Apple's smallest tablet got an upgrade — but it won't feel like much of one unless Apple Intelligence is better than it seems.

Spent over a week using the Quest 3S and alternating with the Quest 3. It's an amazing product for its price, but not a necessary upgrade yet for Quest 2 owners...and I prefer the Quest 3's better lenses/displays https://www.cnet.com/...

Meta Quest 3S review: fast performance, comfortable, excellent controllers, and large app library, but Fresnel lenses lead to artifacts and average MR cameras

It's not Meta's first $300 VR headset, but it's still a tremendous accomplishment.  —  You can think of the $300 Meta Quest 3S as a basic Honda Accord of VR headsets.

The new $999 HTC Vive Focus Vision XR looks very much like the middle-zone Pro headset that Meta isn't making at the moment, and is also much less expensive than the Vision Pro. Eye tracking and passthrough mixed reality are its big additions. https://www.cnet.com/...
