(Enterprise SaaS post) Our team is discussing the emergence of cross-app search features, like Dropbox Dash, that work by maintaining their own index of content.  The end user experience is powerful, but it is somewhat surprising that we're trending towards a world where many vendors (Dropbox, AWS, Perplexity, etc) are separately mapping all the others. …

Great to see this long piece from Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei about how much good AI can do, juxtaposed with how risky it is. https://darioamodei.com/... The opponents of AI safety work want you to believe people only think one thing or the other, but both things can be true at the same time.

Adam Mosseri attributes Instagram and Threads' moderation issues, causing users to lose access to their accounts, to human moderator “mistakes”, not AI systems

One way I like to think about this is that it's like a modern day Zeno's paradox, but instead of the paradox being based on how space time works, in this case it is based on just lies.

The business plan is sheperds with flocks of 10-20 cybercabs each.  And perhaps a Robovan or two.  You'll need Tesla accessories like the custom roomba thing for keeping cabs clean, Tesla insurance, and Tesla maintenance.  Potholes void warranty.
