I absolutely back a ban on social media for under 16s, IF the parents agree. It's not for the Government to decide, it's for mums and dads. Here's a mad idea. Why don't we let parents parent? THEY know best. A ban is unworkable and total state overreach. AGAIN.

The UK government drops plans for mandatory digital IDs to work in the country, marking a reversal from when the UK first announced the policy in September 2025

The government has dropped plans requiring workers to sign up to its digital ID scheme in order to prove their right to work in the UK.

We won. Starmer abandons plans for compulsory Digital ID. This is a HUGE win. Well done to EVERYONE who has been fighting - from all political parties and none. A team effort. It proves that we can make progress when we come together to fight this appalling Labour Government.
