i don't think most ppl understand the implication of a supply chain risk designation for an american company.  the implicit cost of all of this potentially has a chilling effect on the entire supply side... only vendors with nothing to lose, or those fully captured will play.  the cautious, principled, & actually good orgs self select out... this is equally bad if not worse for the us govt in the long term than it is for anthropic.

would ppl get mad at me for stress testing x's monetization capabilities on content?  a mix of free & paid?  the huge challenge has always been that timeline has been impossible to get distribution on with paid tweet content.  these do not get engagement early on because limited viewers therefore they never rank on the timeline.  i wonder if this actually fixes it?

while they require more capital fully verticalized startups like this are super fascinating to me cuz in the ai era the two things that matter are owning the underlying context & deploying intelligence on top of it. most ai startups do the latter on someone else's platform
